PURPOSE

To develop a methodology that can be used to as a model for establishing rates for Medicaid Waiver clients living in RCACs. The method should be (1) mutually acceptable to providers and purchasers of services, (2) generate rates that provide adequate reimbursement for providers and value for the county human service agencies as purchasers of service for MA Waiver clients, and (3) and clearly identify cost components which can be reimbursed by the MA Waiver.
