Who We Are: Advisory Committee

Mission

The Wisconsin Affordable Assisted Living Advisory Committee was formed to:

  • Provide input to Wisconsin's affordable assisted living initiative
    • Identify barriers to the development and provision of affordable assisted living
    • Generate ways to reduce the identified barriers
    • Identify what we want to learn from for the affordable assisted living demonstrations and help develop guidelines for them
  • Integrate diverse perspectives to fully address the issue
  • Contribute to the development of best practice models and implementation tools
  • Serve as a sounding board for ideas generated through the grant initiative
  • Communicate back to the constituencies represented
  • Support progress toward solving the problem of lack of affordable assisted living

Membership

Members represent a diverse background, all interested in creating and making assisted living more affordable to Wisconsin citizens.
