Mission
The Wisconsin Affordable Assisted Living Advisory Committee
was formed to:
- Provide input to Wisconsin's affordable assisted living
initiative
- Identify barriers to the development and provision
of affordable assisted living
- Generate ways to reduce the identified barriers
- Identify what we want to learn from for the affordable
assisted living demonstrations and help develop guidelines
for them
- Integrate diverse perspectives to fully address the issue
- Contribute to the development of best practice models
and implementation tools
- Serve as a sounding board for ideas generated through
the grant initiative
- Communicate back to the constituencies represented
- Support progress toward solving the problem of lack of
affordable assisted living
Membership
Members represent a diverse background, all interested in
creating and making assisted living more affordable to Wisconsin
citizens.
