ElderWeb was created
by Karen Stevenson Brown, a CPA and a consultant with over
19 years of experience in long term care, finance, and technology.
Over its seven years of existence, ElderWeb has grown to include
over 6,000 reviewed links to long term care information, as
well as an expanding library of articles and reports, news,
and events.
The
Housing Research Foundation is the nation's only nonprofit
institution dedicated exclusively to the study of public housing
and its residents. With support from public housing authorities,
HUD, and foundations, HRF conducts research to educate policymakers,
practitioners, and the public about key issues affecting public
housing communities. Issues it covers include assisted living,
design, financing, health, housing/service models, legislation,
marketing, Medicaid/Medicare, occupancy, operations/management,
policies/programs, program evaluation, and supportive services.
Lapham Park, owned and operated by the Housing Authority of
the City of Milwaukee, is cited as one example under "Design".
